Ο αγαπημένος Έλληνας ηθοποιός και συγγραφέας Στέλιος Μάινας είναι προσκεκλημένος του Αντώνη Καραγιαννάκη, στην εκπομπή «Καλές Θάλασσες – Βάρδια Σαββάτου”», που μεταδίδεται από τη Φωνή της Ελλάδας, το Σάββατο 18 Οκτωβρίου 2025, στις 08:00 ώρα Ελλάδα.
Ο Στέλιος Μάινας μιλάει στην εκπομπή για το νέο του βιβλίο με τίτλο «Αρόδου», το οποίο αφιερώνει με σεβασμό και αγάπη στους ανθρώπους των καραβιών και της θάλασσας. Ο ίδιος είναι παιδί καπετάνιου, με καταγωγή από τη Σύρο, ενώ έχει πολλούς φίλους και συγγενείς ναυτικούς.
Για το βιβλίο αναφέρει ότι οι ναυτικοί θα δουν πολλά πράγματα από τον εαυτό και τη ψυχή τους μέσα από τις σελίδες του. Επίσης, μιλάει για τη σημασία που είχε ένα γράμμα την εποχή που ο ίδιος ήταν παιδί και λάμβανε από τον πατέρα του, επιστολές με φωτογραφίες από το καράβι ή την πόλη-λιμάνι που βρισκόταν.

Actor and author Stelios Mainas
on “Fair Winds and Following Seas – Saturday Shift”

The beloved Greek actor and author Stelios Mainas takes the helm of the program “Fair Winds and Following Seas – Saturday Shift” on Voice of Greece, this Saturday, 18 October 2025, at 08:00 Athens time, on the occasion of the release of his new book “Arodou”.
Mainas dedicates the book, with deep respect and affection, to the people of the sea – sailors and ship workers. A captain’s son himself, with roots from Syros, he has many relatives and friends who are seafarers.
Speaking about “Arodou”, he notes that seafarers, both old and new, will see much of themselves and their souls reflected in its pages.
During the conversation, he also reflects on the meaning of “letters” in his childhood – those precious times when he received a letter from his father, often accompanied by a photograph from the ship or the port city where he was stationed.
