Η εκπομπή «Καλές Θάλασσες – Βάρδια Σαββάτου»
μας ταξιδεύει στην ελληνική μουσική παράδοση

Ένα ταξίδι στη μουσική μας παράδοση πραγματοποιεί η εκπομπή «Καλές Θάλασσες – Βάρδια Σαββάτου» με τον Αντώνη Καραγιαννάκη, το Σάββατο 8 Νοεμβρίου 2025, στις 8 το πρωί.
Καλεσμένοι στο στούντιο της Φωνής της Ελλάδας είναι ο Γιάννης Κ. Λύρας, πρόεδρος της Paralos Maritime Corp. και η Κούλα Γιαζιτζόγλου, υπεύθυνη του Αρχείου Δόμνας Σαμίου.
Οι δύο προσκεκλημένοι μιλούν για την εξαιρετική μελέτη, συλλογή και μουσικό CD με τίτλο «Της Κυρα-Θάλασσας», που συγκεντρώνει τραγούδια που σχετίζονται με τη θάλασσα από διάφορα σημεία της Ελλάδας, όπως τα κατέγραψε με αγάπη και σεβασμό η αείμνηστη Δόμνα Σαμίου.
Ο κ. Λύρας, χορηγός του δίσκου, είναι από τα ιδρυτικά μέλη της HELMEPA και επί σειρά ετών πρόεδρος της Ένωσης Ελλήνων Εφοπλιστών. Μιλάει για τη σχέση του με τη μουσική, τις Οινούσσες, απ’ όπου κατάγεται, τη ναυτιλία και τη θάλασσα, που τόσο πολύ αγαπά και υπηρετεί.
Η κα Γιαζιτζόγλου με τη σειρά της μιλάει για τη συνεργασία της με τη Δόμνα Σαμίου, παραλειπόμενα από τις εγγραφές αυτής της σοβαρής δουλειάς, για τον «άνθρωπο» Δόμνα Σαμίου και για το πολύτιμο Αρχείο της.

«Songs of Dame Sea»
The program «Fair Winds & Following Seas – Saturday Shift»
takes us on a journey through Greek musical tradition

The radio program “Fair Winds & Following Seas – Saturday Shift”, hosted by Antonis Karagiannakis, takes listen0ers on a voyage through Greek musical tradition this Saturday, 8 November 2025, at 08:00 am.
Guests in the Voice of Greece studio are Mr. Yannis C. Lyras, President of Paralos Maritime Corp., and Ms. Koula Yazitzoglou, Head of the Domna Samiou Archive. They will discuss the remarkable research project, collection, and music album “Songs of Dame Sea” (Tis Kyra-Thalassas), which brings together sea-related songs from various parts of Greece — songs lovingly and respectfully recorded by the late Domna Samiou.
Mr. Lyras, the album’s sponsor, is a founding member of HELMEPA and a long-serving President of the Union of Greek Shipowners. He speaks about his connection with music, his native island Oinousses, and his lifelong devotion to shipping and the sea.
Ms. Yazitzoglou, in turn, shares insights into her collaboration with Domna Samiou, behind-the-scenes stories from the recordings of this significant project, and reflections on Domna Samiou as both an artist and a person, as well as on her invaluable archive.
